What is Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves reshaping or removing excess skin, fat, and muscle from the eyelids. It can be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids to create a more youthful and refreshed look.

The procedure can also be used to treat droopy or sagging eyelids that can interfere with vision, as well as to remove bags or puffiness under the eyes. The surgery is performed using local anesthesia and typically takes about one to two hours.

The recovery time is typically two weeks, during which time the patient should keep their eyes clean and avoid strenuous activities. The results of the surgery are usually permanent and can last for years.

Absolutely love how understanding Dr. Kumud Raut is. The only place where I have not been told about only the process of getting a surgery, but rather they insist on educating about how the eye functions and the importance of having a healthy eye before any surgery.
